Valérie Clément
Valerie was born in Switzerland in a family of artists, musicians and painters. During her youth, she played different instruments and studied in her grand-father’s painting studio.
At 17, she enters the prestigious Kunstgewerbeshule ( beaux-arts) in Zurich. During this period, she travels often to London where she discovers a passion for photography. At 20, she came to Paris to work as a photographer’s assistant.
Little by little, she became a photographer herself, a specialist on people and children.
Later one of her clients proposes her to direct their advertising campaigns which wins a Silver Lion in the Cannes festival. After winning this award, her career took off.
She still continues her first love photography as well as directing commercials.
For 25 years , Valerie’s style is distinguishable by its authentic and spontaneous.aesthetic. An acute observer of society, she captures the humour, beauty, reality in life.
