Jean Paul Arlan
J.Paul Arlan started his artistic career as photographer.
After several exhibitions, fashion stills and advertising campaigns, his passage to film direction came naturally with success (200 films shot). With his knowledge of photography and lighting he has an inborn sense of what is contemporary and a nautural hability to seek for authenticity and emotion.
His work shows a youth and « french touch » very aestetical that allows him to play with the elements and to create a unique and refined tone.
Amoung the commercials or music vidéos he directed he has shot with : Monica Belluchi, Isabelle Adjani, Daniel Auteuil, Johnny Hallyday, Priscilla Presley, Michel Polnareff, Ornella Mutti, Estelle Lefébure, Monserrat Caballé, and many others…
Constantly looking for new ways to tell stories, he directs a feature « Airstream » and imagines photographic shows linked to the rôle of language and images, like puzzle films in a frozen édit.
His work was often rewarded in numerous Internatioanl Festivals : "Chicago International Film Festival"," Art Directors Club Italiano"
"Cannes and New York International Advertising Festival ". etc…
Jean-Paul is represented by French Directors worldwide except for Lebanon.
